Suggestion for Crochet Baby Cocoon - Crochet Tip #62

This is my suggestion for the crochet baby cocoon. I have many hat patterns posted and would start the baby cocoon out just like a hat. My recommendation is to use a hat pattern. You can substitute a larger crochet hook if the recommended size hook is to small. You can also include additional increase rounds to make it larger.  Continue with as many rounds as you need.  I will be writing a cocoon pattern, extended from an existing hat pattern.

Materials
Size H/5 mm crochet hook
4 ply yarn - 1020 yards - 932 meters
Tapestry Needle

Popcorn - Each popcorn stitch will consist of 3 double crochet, then join.

NOTE: You can reverse on each round  so the points are not leaning.   If you reverse, you will need to join the popcorn stitch on the same side you are working and push it to the front so the ridge is all on one side.   Leaning Crochet Stitches


Chain 4, Join with the beginning Stitch.

Round 1:  CH, *Work 3 DC through the loop, join with the beginning stitch to form the popcorn. CH 2, complete 6 times from *, join with the beginning stitch.

Round 2: CH, *Work 3 DC through the previous PC, join with the beginning stitch to form the popcorn.  This next part will be the increase on each point. It will consist of DC, CH1, DC, CH1, DC, CH1, DC in the same chain space.  Complete 6 times total from *, join with the beginning stitch.

Round 3:  *Work 3 DC through the previous PC, join with the beginning stitch to form the popcorn. Work a DC, CH 1 in the next stitch, Work the increase at the center point, DC, CH1, DC, CH1, DC, CH1, DC, CH 1.  Work a DC in the next stitch.



There will be 1 extra stitch on each round so it is important to count to so you do not end up with a lopsided star.   I have approximately 25 rounds and will be working a few more, which will make a nice size baby afghan.

Materials
Size 7 Steel crochet hook
4 ply yarn
Sewing Needle
Pony Tail Holder


This project can be easily adjusted for the larger ponytail bands.  You will keep crochet extra rounds until your scrunchi is as full as you like.

Work a chain of 15, Loop the chain through the pony tail band. Make sure it is not twisted. Join with the beginning chain.


Round 1: CH 3, DC in the same stitch, CH 2, 2 DC in the same stitch. *Skip 2 chains, work 2 DC, CH 2, 2DC, Complete 4 times total from *, skip 2 chains, join with the beginning stitch. (See symbol chart. Red Dots show where to join)  SL ST to the next chain 2 space.

Round 2-42:  CH 3, DC in the same space, CH 2, 2 DC in the space. Work 2 DC, CH 2, 2 DC in each of the 4 remaining, chain 2 spaces. Join with the beginning stitch.

This next round will be joining with the beginning round to close up the tube section.
Round 43:  CH 3, DC in the same space, CH 1, SL ST between the bottom section of the stitch on the beginning round. The first stitch will follow the tail.  Make sure your work is not twisted. CH 1, complete the 2 DC in same stitch.  *Work 2 DC, CH 1, SL ST between the stitch on the beginning round, CH 1, 2 DC in the same space. Complete 4 times total from *. Join with the beginning stitch and sew in all of the tails.

PUDIM DE SORVETE

Já fiz várias vezes e faz sempre muito sucesso. É delicioso!!!

-1 lata de leite condensado-

2 vezes a mesma medida de leite

-4 ovos
-1 lata de creme de leite

-5 colheres (sopa) de açúcar

Calda de Chocolate:

-4 colheres de chocolate em pó

-2 colher de margarina

 Modo de Preparo

Em uma panela, coloque o leite condensado, o leite e as gemas.

Leve ao fogo sem levantar fervura.

Quando esfriar, acrescente o

creme de leite sem o soro, e reserve.

Bata as claras com o açúcar na batedeira em ponto de suspiro. Acrescente esse suspiro no

creme reservado.

Coloque em forma para pudim untada com uma calda de chocolate de

sua preferência. Leve ao freezer por 12 horas.

.Retire e espere uns minutinhos para desenformar, ou então mergulhe o fundo da forma num recipiente com agua quente.

Se quiser, jogue mais calda.

Calda de Chocolate:

leve os ingredientes ao fogo e vá mexendo. Vá acrescentando água,

aos poucos, com pouca água, pois a calda acaba endurecendo quando
esfria, ficando como uma leve crosta de chocolate muito gostosa.

Popcorn Stitch - Work 5 Double crochet in the same stitch, join with the beginning DC to complete the popcorn.

Materials
Sizecrochet hook
Size 10 Thread -  Crochet cotton
Tapestry Needle

Chain 4, join


Round 1:  CH 1, *Work the first popcorn, CH 3, complete 5 times from *, join in the beginning stitch.


Round 2:  *chain 3, SC in the CH 3 loop, 6 times. SC in the popcorn. Complete 5 times total from *, join with the beginning stitch.


Round 3: CH 1 *SC in SC, CH 3, SC in next loop, 7 times, SC in the next SC. Complete 5 times from *,  join with the beginning stitch.


Round 4: CH 1 *SC in SC, CH 6, Complete 5 times from *,  join with the beginning stitch.

Round 5: *SL ST to the next chain loop. CH 2, work 15 TC, CH 2, SL ST in the same loop. Complete 5 times from *,  join with the beginning stitch.

DOCE DE BANANA COM MERENGUE

Ingredientes


- 6 bananas nanicas (cortadas em rodelas)
- 2 colheres de chá de canela em pó

Ingredientes: Calda

- 1 xícara de chá de água
- 1 ½ xícara de chá de açúcar
- 1 pedaço de canela em pau
- 2 pedaços de casca de limão
- 2 pedaços de casca de laranja
- 1/2 xícara de chá de rum

Modo de Fazer

Misture à água, o açúcar, a canela e as cascas do limão e da laranja e leve ao fogo até ferver por 5 minutos. Retire do fogo e acrescente o rum. Coloque as bananas em rodelas e a canela em pau na calda pronta e leve novamente ao fogo por 5 minutos. Reserve.

Ingredientes: Creme

- 2 gemas peneiradas
- 1 lata de leite condensado
- 1 colher de chá de essência de baunilha
- 1/2 litro de leite
- 1 colher de sopa de amido de milho

Modo de Fazer: Creme

Misture bem todos os ingredientes e leve ao fogo baixo até engrossar como um creme. Reserve.

Ingredientes: Cobertura

-3 claras
-6 colheres de sopa de açúcar
-raspas da casca de ½ limão

Modo de Fazer: Cobertura

Bata as claras em neve junte o açúcar e as raspas de limão. Reserve.

Montagem

Coloque as bananas em um refratário, por cima coloque o creme e por último a cobertura. Leve ao forno bem quente por aproximadamente 5 minutos, até dourar levemente o merengue. Sirva gelado.
